Cheri Barber, DNP, CRNP

Cheri Barber is a Certified Registered Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with over twenty years of pediatric/neonatal experience. She formerly served as President of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. While she practices at PMA, she also serves as the Director/Coordinator of the PNP program at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Ms. Barber attained her doctorate of nursing practice degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City, which focused on childhood obesity. She holds a M.S.N. degree in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and a B.S. degree in nursing from Immaculata University in Immaculata, PA. Previously, Ms. Barber was a RN Consultant/ Educator for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her health-related interests and expertise are in Eating and Behavioral Disorders, and she has published several articles in these areas. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing, and loves the beach. She is a mother of four, grandmother of two, and currently resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
MaryAnn Dellostretto, RN, CPNP-PC

MaryAnn Dellostretto has worked with PMA for more than 25 years as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP). During that time, she has dedicated herself to improving children’s health. MaryAnn received her Nursing degree and her PNP certification from Gwynedd-Mercy College. She is on staff at Mercy Suburban Hospital and serves as a preceptor for nursing students from numerous universities, as well as for medical students, interns and residents. She is a Fellow of the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, as well as the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
MaryAnn is the eldest of eight children. She has been married to Michael for 24 years and has two daughters, Colleen and Casey, and a son, Michael John. MaryAnn enjoys the mountains, summers at the shore, and an array of family activities.
Susan Wheary RN, MSN, CPNP-PC

Susan has been a member of our PMA family since 1986, first as a Receptionist and Office Nurse, then as a Nurse Practitioner after completing her Masters Degree in Nursing and obtaining her Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1996. She is certified by the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses in Primary Care and holds Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NALS). Susan is a Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor and a Safe Sitter® Program Instructor. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nurses, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the Pennsylvania Del/Val Chapter of NAPNAP. Susan is also a Professional Health Consultant for the American Academy of Pediatrics ECELS (Early Childhood Education Linkage System) program. In addition to working with PMA, Susan served as both a staff nurse on the Pediatric/Medical/Surgical/Oncology unit (1987-1995) and as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist (2000-2003) at Mercy Suburban Hospital. She continues to offer her support as a Pediatric Clinical Consultant for the hospital. Susan enjoys spending time with her husband Eric and their two children Samantha and Dylan as well as gardening, camping and a variety of arts and crafts.
