To My PMA Family,
WOW! It has taken me almost 46 years to finally write this letter. I have enjoyed helping to raise your children and solve their medical problems. I've felt privileged to offer advice and good counsel to parents, and join many of you for both happy, difficult, and sad situations. It has been the pleasure of my life to be called your "children's doctor".
Beginning January 1,2026, I will, not unexpectedly, begin to reduce my office hours at PMA. I will provide a schedule in advance to the administrative staff, and plan to be in the office regularly for visits with established patients. I will continue with scheduled Telehealth appointments, and plan to support my esteemed colleagues, Dr. Kyle, Dr. P, and Nurse Practitioner Zach Hoover for their vacations.
Over time, I will retire from this beloved practice that I opened on July 9, 1980, with my friend Bonnie DiNenna. These accumulated memories will be with me forever. I am grateful to you for all of them.
And as one of my favorite children's authors, Dr. Seuss wrote, "I will not cry because it is over; rather, I will smile because it all happened".
With Love,
Dr. Steve
